Leonora is currently supporting clients during their early postpartum recovery, the first 40 days, practicing indigenous and traditional healing modalities in the home for the first 40 days after baby is born. She is also available to support clients birthing in the home or a birth center.

Postpartum Belly Wrapping

Postpartum Bodywork
Trained in various modalities of bodywork, traditional Mexican bodywork using the rebozo, womb massage, barefoot bodywork in the Shiatsu style, and cupping as well as using the gua sha, both rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) methodology, all for easing tension and realigning the bones, and helping birthing folks integrate the new changes they're experiencing.
Postpartum Herbal Yoni Steam
Womb warming is an important element in the first few weeks of healing after birth and herbs and plant allies provide tissue and cellular repair support as well as being a great compassionate comforting healing practice.
Bone Closing Ceremony
To bring those first 40 days of postpartum time to close, that early postpartum time, when whole families are integrating transition, transition earthside for the babies, into parenthood for the birthing person and partners, through healing and processing, through challenges and blessings, we honor it all with an acknowledgement and love.
